Welcome to the Fylde
It’s an eclectic mix. Something like my own life. A bit of this, a bit of that – not forgetting a smattering of something else and a large dollop of nonsense.
I grew up in the Fylde. Like so many others, I moved away, for higher education and work. But 2019 marks the year of my return. So, here’s my weblog. Some of it will be recollections and reminiscences of what it was like to grow up on the Fylde Coast. Other parts will be reviews and reminders of what it is that attracts people to the touristy bits. Add some ridicule and raillery – because life would be grim without it. And some reflections; because deep down, we search for meaning and purpose – and it begins with R too.
